This young client presented with a severe poison ivy rash in multiple areas of her body. We chose Rhus Tox as our first choice, then switched to Apis when swelling was noted. She responded well to Apis and showed remarkable improvement over the course of only a few days.

It is important to note that each person responds to remedies differently. For example, if someone tried Apis for their poison ivy and did not have a healing response, it is likely they would find relief using a different remedy. There are many options for this type of skin reaction, and depending on a person's homeopathic profile, our homeopath will find the right remedy for your unique constitution!

In many cases we use a homeopathic remedy called camphora to deter deer and other critters from enjoying our vegetables. Sometimes it works and sometimes with the rains and humidity it is less effective, as we see here! The client did first apply Camphora initially to deter the deer.

This doesn't mean the remedy or homeopathy doesn't work, it just means in this particular environment it wasn't the best remedy! So, what is the next step?

We repair and restore the plants!

After this cute critter enjoyed a sizable dinner and left what most would say was beyond repair, we recommended to our client who subscribes to our monthly support membership, they apply a water solution that contains two homeopathic remedies to the garden:

-Arnica 30C for pain, inflammation and regrowth of the plant's vascular systems and

-Sulphur 30C which is especially helpful this season with our sudden weather changes. The remedy promotes growth and helps the plants both absorb water and protects against waterlogging and fungal infections. Plus, it is a remedy that tends to deter the deer and anything that crawls or flies!

One of our horses, Harley, has been provided homeopathic remedies for almost fifteen years and to everyone's surprise when they see him, is 25 years old and still going strong.

Harley has had his share of challenges, some being serious, and others are the simple everyday aches, bumps and pains a larger animal often experiences. One afternoon, Harley had the misfortune of losing his balance and hitting his head on his barn door when exiting too quickly.
